A bit about me
I'm a software engineer with a decade-plus of experience turning complex problems into reliable, scalable systems. I design the system, write the design doc, and build it — state machines with row-level locking, event-driven pipelines, and AI agents behind human-approval gates. I've mentored backend engineers and interns, reviewed production schema migrations, and served as first responder for production database incidents.
My background spans backend architecture, cloud infrastructure, data engineering, and AI integrations. I've worked in a forward-deployed capacity, building AI agents used daily in production.
On the standards side, I'm a co-author of ERC-1450 — a Final-status Ethereum standard for RTA-controlled security tokens under SEC Regulations CF, D, and A (spec review and backend implementation).
Outside work
I got into engineering because I love computers. I built my first PC in 2013 for gaming and have been hooked on tech ever since. I like keeping up with what's new, and I can't resist a good gadget.
I'm married to Valerie and we have a daughter. We love to travel, and so far we've been to Japan, China, France, Germany and Italy.
I've spent more hours than I'd like to admit in World of Warships, Heroes of the Storm and World of Tanks.
